2000tii - 1969 to 1972
In the latter part of 1969 BMW introduced its final Neue Klasse model, the 2000tii. This was BMW’s first fuel-injected model. The twin Solexes on the 2000ti and tilux were replaced with Kugelfischer mechanical fuel injection. With the compression increased to 9.5:1 and 130hp this model had a top speed of 115 mph. BMW produced 1,922 of the 2000tii model vehicles between 1969 and 1972.
